My scratched soul

For Caline, painting is a physical act of liberation, a need to reconnect with the inner landscapes that continue to inhabit her. For this reason, her work is often perceived as raw, visceral, and sometimes animistic, echoing the earthly and spiritual essence of the environments that shaped her early perceptions of the world.

Land of Guadeloupe

Caline Dalberto was born and raised in Madagascar and developed as an artist between France, Guadeloupe, and Italy, where she now lives and works. Her style evokes a sense of timeless rebellion and nostalgia, especially for Madagascar, the land she was forced to leave during her adolescence. This detachment, both physical and emotional, remains a central thread in her artistic expression.

Unwritten Letters

Caline has held several solo exhibitions in Italy, particularly around Lake Como, where her work continues to be displayed.
